I've got the same problem over here. I have tested with many sites using NVP both in Thailand and other countries.

It's strange that demo site is still working with Google Chrome, is there any difference with other websites?

Would it be possible that we are using out of date javascript or HTML code as it have been working for years but not today?

There is no problem with player under Chrome if only player itself is correctly implemented on website and your script doesn't produce other (not related to player) javascript errors, not causing html decoding issues.

Certain browsers decode javascript in different ways, it's possible that only one browser detects some javascript error that stops from executing next js functions.
Surely this cannot be javascript related to the player. SWF object that often is used to show the player is fine under most of browsers, including Chrome.

Apart of Nuevolab demos that are fine under Chrome we also have default clipshare, avs, phpmotion scripts installed for test purpose. For all of them there is no problem with player under Chrome.

I think JavaScript work fine because, i didn't get any JavaScript errors and it's create the embed tag with SWF object but it's look like SWF object can't load player. please check out the screenshot below.

swfobject is nothing else as javascript as well.
same swfobject is used on Nuevolab demo pages, so it cannot be a reason of not loaded flash app.
but if there is other javascript bug before swfobject - it will not load flash.

WHatever - without example URL it is not possible to say anything useful.
Screenshot is same like you send a photo of your car to your mechanic and request to say why engine is not starting.

Looks like we have more and more reports on problems with browsers and newest Adobe Flash Player plugin ver. 10.3.183.5. Seems Adobe had to mess up something with their plugin as flash players were working for years on each older Adobe plugin. I can guess it's connected with flash security.

Anyway Nuevoplayer 5 seems to work stable with newest Adobe player plugin.
Read details in other thread:
