Just started this thread to confirm so we finalized first several integrations of amazing x264 conversion script along with our own siteadmin modifications for easier conversion menagement.
Of course service comes also with all modules required for such installation.

Is available and tested for both: AVS and Clipshare script.

And after next 10 installations we made more small updates to conversion class.
Basically it concerns conversion of youtube/google videos.
In default class such videos were only moved to destination FLV folder, so if it was HD video - no HD alternative was created.
Now if uploaded video is youtube/google HD video, it is moved to HD folder, but also downgraded quality and stored in standard FLV videos folder.

As far we were able to install the mod on dozens of very different linux servers, always succesfully.
There were many different issues with modules installation, but we were able to solve all.
Most irritating problem was related to PHP Handler on one of servers, which was difficult to detect.
But finally we also found it and set properly.

Thanks.

Few notices as a result of our jobs stories for many different clients

1.
x264 conversion cannot improve video quality.
Quality of converted video cannot be better than quality of uploaded video.
That's so obvious, but still there are many people ....

2.
To make use of Nuevoplayer HD/SD switch button, you must have 2 videos with same content but different quality, where one is of HD quality.
HD/SD switch is to switch between 2 videos and not 2 qualities.
Of course offered conversion class allows to convert video into 2 FLV videos (one HD quality), but only if source of uploaded video is of enough high quality.

Notice:
HD doesn't necessary mean real HD quality.
Conversion class identifies video width and height and decides whether render second (HD) video.
That's what almost all video services use, including youtube.

Thanks.
